The Silver Classix Crew is USA's ultimate performance team! This is a hip hop crew ages 50 , (yes, many are grandmothers) that perform all over the US for the last 9 years, generating excitement for people of all ages to get involved in dance, and live life to the fullest and improve with age. They are truly inspiring! The Silver Classix Crew is excited to host our first National Dance Day Event, September, 8 in Atlanta, GA, which is specifically for over 50s dancers! - Learn the official National Dance Day Choreography - Improve your stamina, agility, flexibility & memory. - Be a part of the social media campaign to create awareness. - Bridge the gap between seniors and mainstream dance. - Celebrate dance, defy all stereotypes and begin improving with age! - $25, Proceeds to benefit American Dance Movement, funding dance education in underserved communities. They have been featured on CNN and Wall Street Journal. They also support a wide variety of nonprofit organizations and serve the community as senior health advocators.
