Chauncie Parchment

CHAUNCIE PARCHMENT Chauncie is a dance major at LaGuardia High School and will be a junior this fall. He enjoys modern and contemporary dance, but ballet is his focus. He performed in Dance Africa at BAM in 2006 and with Complexions Dance Company in their Fall Concert at the Joyce Theater in 2007. He was a featured dancer in LaGuardia High School’s production of “A Chorus Line.” He has attended summer programs at Ballet Hispanico (2006), Boston Ballet (2007) and Dance Theatre of Harlem (2008). He was offered a full scholarship to train at Dance Theatre of Harlem’s year-round school in 2008. After being awarded a scholarship to attend American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive in New York, he was invited to join the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in Level 5. He loves dancing and hopes to be one of American Ballet Theatre’s amazing principals.
