Do you love to dance? Come hear Orlando REP teaching artist, Desiree Parkman, read her book Dancing with Naima and then participate in a dance class! Each student receives a signed copy of the book to end this fun filled dance experience!
Desiree Parkman was no older than Naima when she fell in love with dance. From her hometown studio outside of Boston, MA she went on to grace the stages of Broadway as well as become a member of the world renowned Radio City Rockettes. Dance has given Desiree a wonderful opportunity to share her gift teaching students worldwide the beauty and power of movement. Now she has ventured into children’s literature with the publication of her first book Dancing with Naima.
We would love to see you there to celebrate dance and support the wonderful work done by one of our teaching artists.
