Max Cauthorn

Originally from Arizona, the world of dance opened to Robert after moving to San Francisco. At a young age Robert was captivated after seeing the cinematic version of West Side Story. In pursuit of his new found interest he joined a modern youth dance group in association with ODC. His continual passions lead him to audition for San Francisco Ballet School at the age of eleven. His love for ballet and his dedication to the San Francisco Ballet School has rarely encouraged him to stray from the bay area. However, in the spring of 2008, Robert auditioned for the School of American Ballet and attending the New York City summer intensive. Again in 2010 Robert auditioned for the School of American Ballet and the Boston Ballet summer intensives, being accepted to both, Robert chose to go to New York once more. Robert was asked to remain at SAB for the winter term, but his lover for his home school brought him home to stay. Robert was asked to be part of the San Francisco Ballet School’s prestigious Trainee Program in the summer of 2011.
